We are a food led pub in a small Devon town with a rapidly growing reputation for serving top quality food. We only use locally supplied fresh and seasonal ingredients. Bread and pasta are made daily. We butcher and prepare all our meat from whole carcasses and cure and smoke where necessary.
We are looking to expand our small but talented brigade and require a junior sous chef/CDP and who have the enthusiasm and dedication to work across different areas of the kitchen with a ‘can do’ attitude.
We expect you to work along side the head chef and produce the type of food that our reputation has been built on. It goes without saying that the opportunity to learn different skills, including butchery, will be provided. You will be prepared to work day, evenings and weekends on a rota basis and progress to a high level of responsibility.
A strong desire to learn, enthusiasm and be capable of working in a friendly but dedicated team.
