The steer was provided by Richard “Elmo” Ellis. It is a Dexter that has travelled from only ½ mile outside Chagford and has been butchered and prepared totally in house. Cuts and dishes will change regularly as we work through the animal.


Home cured bresaola with Parmesan and herbs £8.50

Sirloin steak with roast garnish, chips and au poivre sauce £20.00

Smoked, confit brisket with coleslaw and chips £16.50

Slow braised Dexter with creamed mash, kale, fresh horseradish and parsnip crisps £16.50

A discretionary 10% service charge will be added to tables of six or more.
